AIA Canada member voting delegates, join us and take part in shaping the organization’s future leadership. AIA Canada Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for the association’s member companies in good standing to have their voting delegate attend and represent their organization’s interests in the decision making of AIA Canada’s newly appointed Board of Directors.

Please note, this meeting will be taking place in English only and is exclusively open to voting delegates or alternate voting delegates of AIA Canada member companies in good standing.

Frequently asked questions

My company would like to attend the Annual General Meeting; how can we attend? 

The Annual General Meeting is an exclusive meeting open to voting delegates or alternate voting delegates of AIA Canada member company in good standing under an invitation-only format.

Invitations will be sent for voting delegates to register to attend the Annual General Meeting. Each AIA Canada member company in good standing will receive an invitation for their voting representative to register.

 

Our voting delegate cannot attend, can we still vote at the Annual General Meeting?

If your company’s voting delegate cannot attend the Annual General Meeting, they can appoint an alternate voting delegate via the registration invitation they have received by email.

 

What is the deadline to register to attend the Annual General Meeting?

The deadline for voting delegates to register for the Annual General Meeting is Friday, April 5, 2024.

 

I am a voting representative for my company, and we are an AIA Canada member in good standing, how will I receive my invitation and register? 

Your invitation will be sent directly to you by email. Please note, all registrations are pending approval by AIA Canada. Once your registration is approved, you will receive the meeting details by email.

 

I am unsure if my company’s membership status with AIA Canada is in good standing, what should I do?

Enquiries regarding membership status can be directed to the Manager, Member Relations at membership@aiacanada.com.

 

Why is the Annual General Meeting virtual?

We have made the shift to virtual Annual General Meetings in 2022 to enable voting delegate members from across the country an equal opportunity to take part in shaping the organization’s future leadership.

 

Will a recording of the Annual General Meeting be provided to non-voting delegates post-meeting?

No. The results of the AGM will be shared to all AIA Canada members by way of a member advisory email.
