Accessing Vehicle Service and Repair Information

access_repairThe Canadian Automotive Service Information Standard (CASIS) agreement, also known as the ‘Right to Repair’, ensures that Canadian automotive technicians have access to the service and repair information they require to properly service vehicles.

The aftermarket and vehicle makers are working together to ensure aftermarket technicians get the most out of CASIS, by identifying and resolving access to information issues; finding training opportunities; and providing a forum for discussion on relevant trends, processes, and emerging technologies.

CASIS provides a framework for Canadian automobile manufacturers to share their service and repair information with the automotive aftermarket industry on a level equivalent to that of their authorized dealers.
