This course is ideal for automotive professionals, technicians, vehicle porters and anyone working in a repair shop who may come into contact with electrified vehicles.

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), a worldwide leader in automotive training certifies this training, along with AIA Canada and the Energy Security Agency. Participants will receive an electronic certificate upon successful completion of the course – a hard copy of the certificate is also available for an additional cost.

  • Understand EV Subsystems: Describe the various subsystems and components of xEVs.
  • Disable HV EVs Safely: Learn the steps to safely disable HV EVs.
  • Utilize Proper Processes: Use appropriate processes and PPE tools when connecting or disabling EVs.
  • Measure HV Platforms: Safely measure high-voltage vehicle platforms.
  • Explain Grounding Mechanisms: Understand the EV grounding mechanisms.
  • Follow standard safety Requirements: Explain and comply with north american requirements.
