Purpose of Position
Responsible for developing and executing internal and external marketing and communication strategies to support AIA Canada’s vision, mission, values and business plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and execute the delivery of marketing communications programs that support both inbound and member-based marketing across the user journey. These program areas include SEM/SEO, content creation, email marketing, social media, webinars and internal communications.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the management of projects via the project management platform.
- Support the redevelopment of AIA Canada’s digital footprint to create a consistent user experience using industry-standard content management systems and tools.
- Manage paid social media campaigns, including briefing, testing, publishing and their continual optimization.
- Ensure consistent brand and messaging management both externally and internally.
- Deliver partner marketing strategies by promoting programs, events, and tools to support partners in achieving their goals.
- Oversee the hiring and management of freelancers, agencies, and other external partners to support marketing initiatives.
- Monitor digital multichannel marketing trends and competitors to identify and implement the latest trends and innovations.
- Track and report program activities, results and budgets.
- Manage relationships with key media partners.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 4+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of planning and implementing successful integrated marketing communications programs.
- A high level of comfort managing B2B campaigns with digital marketing expertise that focuses on optimizing the user experience.
- Experience using a broad range of digital marketing channels/tools with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong project management and leadership skills that enable you to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- University degree or equivalent experience and a lifelong passion for learning.
- An analytical mindset that prioritizes data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with CRM software.
- Experience working with project management software.
- Experience managing internal and external talent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- French is an asset.
Contract Details:
Start date: April 2025, runs to approx March 2026
Salary: $72,000/yr (pro-rated to contract length)
Bonus: Paid upon successful handover at the end of the contract
Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation annually (pro-rated)
Location: Fully remote, must be located in Ontario
Working Conditions
- Some travelling is required.
