Mentorship is a cornerstone of the Young Professionals in the Auto care sector (YPA) community. This exclusive event, open to young professionals aged 45 and under, is an unparalleled opportunity to gain insights from seasoned leaders in the Canadian auto care industry. 

In an engaging roundtable format, participants will rotate through small-group discussions with five industry mentors, exploring hot topics and emerging trends impacting young professionals today.

This complimentary event is exclusively for young professionals in the Canadian auto care sector. A young professional is defined as someone aged 45 years or younger. 

Please note, Young professionals that are non-YPA Community members must register for at least one day of Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference (CAIC) programming to be eligible to attend the YPA Speed Mentoring Roundtable.

  • Young professional (under 45 years of age) – Two-day admission: $467.78 CAD*

The Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference (CAIC) brings together the AIA Canada National Conference and CCIF Toronto for two-days of networking and learning about hot industry topics, trends, challenges, and the state of Canada’s auto care sector on March 11 and 12, 2026.

  1. Select a CAIC Day: Choose the day(s) of CAIC programming you would like to attend. 
  2. Choose your CAIC ticket: Select either single-day or two-day admission to CAIC. 
  3. Add the YPA Speed Mentoring Roundtable ticket: Before checking out, ensure you add the YPA Speed Mentoring Roundtable ticket to your registration. 

Note: YPA Community members can register directly for the YPA Speed Mentoring Roundtable event without selecting a CAIC ticket.

With nine years in the aftermarket, Allison began her career as a receptionist and advanced through progressively senior roles, gaining hands-on experience across the business before moving into national account leadership. She is known for building strong customer relationships while bringing operational insight, resilience, and a people-first mindset to her work. Passionate about supporting women in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Allison advocates for career growth and mentorship. Malcolm Sissmore leads Mevotech’s business development across emerging markets, including electric vehicle (EV), heavy-duty truck, and specialty segments. With more than 40 years at global automotive and mobility companies such as Delphi and BorgWarner, he brings deep expertise in strategic growth, market expansion, and partnership development. He also oversees Mevotech’s marketing team, guiding brand strategy and market presence. Throughout his career, Malcolm has helped organizations navigate industry change and build sustainable strategies. Murray Voth, president, RPM Training

Murray Voth is a leading North American expert in the independent automotive aftermarket, specializing in profitability, management, leadership, and business development. A former shop owner (1986–2006), he later served as a senior trainer across Canada and the U.S. before founding RPM Training in 2018. He provides coaching and training to shops, distributors, and franchise programs, helping businesses implement practical systems that drive results. Murray is active with key industry associations and was named 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Automotive Retailers Association. Passionate about the industry, he helps shop owners grow sustainable, profitable businesses with stronger teams and leadership.

Sean Stokes

Sean Stokes, vice president, automotive auto parts Canadian Tire/GM Partsource

Sean is Vice President of Automotive Parts at Canadian Tire Corporation and General Manager of PartSource, roles he has held since 2019. He leads sales, merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and product lifecycle for automotive parts across both banners. Sean played a key role in developing the Automotive Accelerate strategy within Canadian Tire’s True North roadmap. Under his leadership, PartSource has achieved 22 consecutive quarters of growth and strengthened profitability, positioning the banner for national expansion. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in finance, strategy, and category management, and holds degrees from the University of Waterloo and UBC.

Zara Wishloff, president & CEO, APD – Automotive Parts Distributors

Zara Wishloff is an automotive aftermarket leader with 34 years of experience across manufacturers, warehouse distributors, and jobbers. After early roles with UAP/NAPA and DANA, he acquired and grew APD Automotive Parts Distributors to seven Prairie locations. An AIA Canada Young Executive of the Year and Diamond Jubilee Medal recipient, he has led through acquisitions, consolidation, and MAP policy challenges, and was selected for Ivey’s QuantumShift program. Passionate about developing industry leaders, Zara actively mentors and contributes to trade media. Known as “Z,” he champions resilience, reinforced by completing multiple 29029 Everest-equivalent endurance climbs.
