Thank you Michel and Céline!
This June, the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada will say farewell to two wonderful staff members. Quebec Executive Director, Michel Tremblay, and Project Coordinator for Quebec, Céline Brisebois, started with AIA in 1993 and have done a wonderful job of representing the Association and the industry over the years. The activities the duo undertook were far from few and included organizing numerous committee meetings, professional development events, galas, golf tournaments, and many school and career fair booths. Their enthusiasm for the Association, its members and the industry has only continued to grow in their 20+ years with AIA. All of us at AIA will miss you both tremendously and wish you a happy and healthy retirement.
Roger Goudreau joins AIA as Executive Director, Quebec
It will be a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to Michel and Céline and say hello to Roger Goudreau, new Executive Director for Quebec. A trained mechanic, Mr. Goudreau oversaw a team of twenty-seven (27) technicians for a number of years. He also worked as a teacher at the Verdun Learning Centre (Centre de formation professionnelle (CFP) de Verdun). He was Director of the Uni-Sélect Training Center and the Parity committee of the automotive services industry in the Montréal region. Most recently, he has worked as a consultant to the automotive sector and as a columnist with Le Garagiste.
AIA is confident that Mr. Goudreau will be a tremendous asset the Association, its members, and the automotive aftermarket industry in Quebec. Welcome aboard Roger!
