L’AUTOMOBILE honours Élisabeth Lambert for her dedication and contributions to the industry
The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) is proud to announce that Élisabeth Lambert, president of AIA Canada’s Quebec Division, was honoured by L’AUTOMOBILE at Soirée de reconnaissance mécanique et pneu, for her outstanding dedication and contributions to Canada’s auto care industry.
President of Pièces d’Auto Joliette, Élisabeth has been thoroughly involved in the industry, including being an active member of the AIA Canada Quebec Division prior to her presidency, which began in 2022, and has worked significantly on the progress of the right to repair in Quebec.
“It hasn’t always been easy, but over the past 14 years I’ve been able to count on some exceptional people who have helped me get to where I am today.” said Élisabeth. “I have been lucky enough to fulfill one of my dreams, that of owning my own business. You have no idea how proud I am of that!”
“Élisabeth is a true leader of the industry with her on-going commitment to AIA Canada and her work as the Chair of the AIA Canada Quebec Division.” says Jean-François Champagne, president and CEO of AIA Canada.
“She has taken time away from the business and her family to make the industry a better place for all and should be commended for her efforts. She was instrumental in our efforts to obtain a right to repair legislation in Quebec, a first in Canada.”
Rémy Rousseau of L’AUTOMOBILE thanks Élisabeth for her continued commitment and dedication to the industry.
“Élisabeth has been dynamic in rejuvenating in the industry. In a traditionally male-dominated industry, doing so is certainly not an easy task—it takes courage and determination.”
In addition to Élisabeth, three other industry professionals were honoured by L’AUTOMOBILE for their dedication and contributions to the industry:
- Mr. Alain Côté, Co-owner of NAPA Auto Parts Alain Côté
- Jean Duchesneau, Co-owner of Centre Beaumont pneus et mécanique, affiliated with M Mecanique 350 (Vast Auto Distribution)
- Jocelyn Bernard, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Unimax and member of the Robert Bernard Group.
