New Equivalency Certificates for transporting dangerous goods now available

May 6, 2024

AIA Canada provides its members a Transportation of Dangerous Goods Equivalency Certificate, issued by Transport Canada, to compliantly transport various dangerous goods and materials.

Despite the previously issued equivalency certificate having an expiry date of May 31st, 2024, it is no longer valid. The renewed equivalency certificate is effective immediately until May 31, 2029.

The Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Program ensures that all safety standards and regulations are met. It includes over 100 inspectors who conduct more than 5,000 inspections each year to guarantee safe and secure transportation of dangerous goods throughout the country.
