Join us on June 17 at 12 p.m. for a free live webinar designed to help you navigate Quebec’s Right to Repair Regulation, which came into effect on October 5, 2025. This webinar, presented by Élisabeth Lambert and David Boudeweel in collaboration with Charles Tanguay, spokesperson, and Julie Couture, Head of Education at the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC), will focus on the key elements of Quebec legislation surrounding the right to repair, the role of the OPC, and the merchant reporting process with respect to the automotive sector and access to data.

David Boudeweel-Lefebvre, president | Boudeweel Public Affairs

David is a public and government affairs specialist with more than 20 years of experience in politics, lobbying, coalition building, business development, and communications. He founded Boudeweel Public Affairs in 2020 after serving as Vice-President of Federal and Quebec Government Affairs at Restaurants Canada and holding leadership roles in the energy, non-profit, and political sectors. With deep expertise in Quebec society and strong knowledge of federal and municipal governments, David has advised AIA Canada since 2021, focusing on Right to Repair and workforce-related issues.

 

Élisabeth Lambert, president | Pièces d’Auto Joliette

Élisabeth Lambert is the owner of Pièces d’Auto Joliette, a parts store member of the Bumper to Bumper network.

Passionate about the challenges and issues affecting the industry, Élisabeth has been actively involved with AIA Canada’s Quebec Division since 2018. She also played an important role in the process leading to the adoption of Bill 29 in Quebec regarding product repairability, including speaking before a parliamentary committee alongside Jean-François Champagne.

Élisabeth served as Chair of AIA Canada’s Quebec Division from April 2022 to December 2024, becoming the first woman in the division’s history to hold this position. She has also served on AIA Canada’s National Board of Directors since 2025.

Having worked at the OPC since 2014, Mr. Tanguay brings over 30 years of experience in consumer protection.

 

Julie Couture, Head of Education | Office de la protection du consommateur
Julie Couture has been working with the Communications, Education and Partnerships Directorate since 2013. She collaborates on the development of tools and campaigns aimed at informing consumers about their rights and remedies in various areas of consumer protection.
