New report: Under the hood: How Canadians view vehicle maintenance and repair

Do you understand your customer’s point of view? AIA Canada’s latest report provides valuable insights for automotive service providers 

It is important for any automotive service provider to understand the consumer’s point of view when it comes to maintenance and repair, and how these perspectives differ across market segments. Your next customer might value quality over price, while another could just be looking to pay as little as possible. Understanding these attitudes is instrumental in achieving the ultimate goal: trust and loyalty.

Through a survey of vehicle owners, AIA Canada’s latest report,Under the Hood: How Canadians View Vehicle Maintenance and Repair explores behaviours, attitudes and preferences regarding areas related to maintenance and repair such as:

  • How important maintenance and repair is to vehicle owners;
  • How vehicle owners are reminded and would prefer to be reminded of the maintenance their vehicle needs; and,
  • The cost/quality trade-off for specific parts of their vehicle, among many other areas.
